Services FAQ

  • Our providers offer individual and group therapy. We also periodically offer peer-led support groups.

For participants of our Perinatal and Trauma Therapy Access Fund, we are able to fund up to 12 sessions at low or no cost for eligible women based on income.

  • Our therapy services are offered on a sliding scale that slides to $0 when needed.

Our services are provided through grants and donations that allow us to close the financial gap for women seeking services and support. We understand that there is a real need for quality mental health support - navigating a complicated referral system, managing benefits and deductibles, and worrying about how to afford therapy is an added layer of stress that we work really hard to remove.

Additionally, we offer financial support for unmanageable copays or deductibles paid directly to providers for women who qualify.

  • Getting started is simple. Complete our Support Request Form - we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way to be sure you are matched with the best provider.

  • There’s a short and a long answer to this really great question.

The short answer is that She Can Hope provides funding for up to 12 sessions for women utilizing our Perinatal and Trauma Therapy Access Fund.

The longer answer? Our goal is to ensure that you find high quality support in your most vulnerable time. When those sessions end, you have the option to continue on with your provider using your insurance benefits or out of pocket if they do not accept insurance. We can work to provide you with a warm handoff to a provider who can be a longer term match for you after your initial sessions end.

  • If there’s anything else we can answer, please complete our general Contact Form and we’ll respond within 24-48 hours.

Q: Does She Can Hope provide therapy directly?

A: No. For individual and group therapy, think of us as therapy matchmakers who work really hard to ensure that you find the best fit therapist in a very vulnerable time. This means that we connect you with providers we’ve vetted and ensured can meet that need - we call this our Provider Network.

Sometimes our work means making the connection and you continue on with that therapist directly. If you are in need of financial support, we’ll stay in touch and ensure that your needs are met through our Perinatal and Trauma Therapy Access Fund.

We do directly offer workshops and peer support groups available in-person and online. These programs are offered at no cost through generous donations and grants.
